Manifesto

Not a word we hear or feel often enough. We have become accustomed to lines
the media, politicians, and corporations feed us. Perhaps we are lazy;
perhaps we are time-crunched; perhaps we feel that we alone cannot impact
change. Regardless of the reason, we proceed without questioning.

Social Atelier does question. SA uses sleek, cutting edge fashion as the
most personal medium to communicate the unbiased truth. Made from 100%
certified organic cotton and 100% cultured thought, Social Atelier t-shirts
aim to make the world a better place. Sometimes biting and direct, each
shirt communicates and stands for an important issue in the world today. We
feel that it is important to broadcast what is happening in the world and to
give people tools to make informed judgments.

The Atelier is a collective of experienced fashion professionals, academics,
and thought leaders that believe clothing should be a medium to promote
positive change in the world. We are not solely connected to any
organization nor do we accept outside funding to influence our designs.
Rather, we donate a significant portion of the proceeds to important and
current causes to improve the global state. We do not cover up scams nor do
we release a shirt unless we have done our best to ensure that each design
is factual. We do not make opinions about the facts. We express them to
make you aware.
